My Playthrough of Blood: One Unit Whole-Part 1

So, I started playing Super-gory Doom style shoot-em-up game, Blood: One Unit Whole, and I've done the first two levels so far. Since my gaming will make sure that I don't get anything else done, I'll write on my progress every now and then, and mention embarassing failures, and awesome victories!...Yeah, the failures are going to be so much more prevalent!...

Blood is about sadistic gunslinger Caleb, who, along with three other people (who all make up 'The Chosen') joined 'The Cabal', an evil secret society that worships Tchernebog, a malevolent god. Tchernebog kills Cabal and co. for some reason, and soon after, Caleb randomly rises from the grave, ready to take vengeance upon the dark god...

Blood has several horror movie references, from the cemetery in Level 1, called Morningside Cemetery (Phantasm) an Army of Darkness reference (Caleb quotes Bad Ash when he comes back to life), and Level 2 is scattered with canisters containing zombies (Return of the Living Dead).

So, I've gone through the first two levels mowing down everything I see, facing tough enemies, dying time and time again,

I did have a few blonde moments though, like when I assumed that the flare gun was pretty much the game's pistol, and fired it at a zombie point blank and set myself on fire!...

...And when I was mangled by several GIANT RATS! And by giant, I mean they were smaller than my foot.
I'm not proud...

Gaming

I started this book blog solely for one reason (was that a tautology?)-because I wanted to have a blog named after a certain Man in a Suitcase quote. Since I started this blog, I've felt a bit silly having a whole other blog devoted to book reviews when I could just do them on my regular blog, so I've decided to review games on this blog as well!

As for book reviews, I'll write some eventually. I haven't done any yet because they take a longer time to do than film reviews...
